Lucy and Maddy have to help Tuberman, their intergalactic space potato friend, make Zucchini Slice - except he doesn’t quite understand their technical language. This is a great lead-in to lessons around writing for an audience, procedural text, informative or process writing, as well as beginning to understand how recipes are formed using predictable patterns (something that’s sure to hold them in good stead in the classroom and the kitchen).
